The Album That Almost Existed

In 2021, Festival Moo-Ah! was cancelled.

One moment there were plans — real ones, with dates, stages, cables, people — and the next moment… nothing.

And somewhere in that strange, paused version of the world, something small but very real got stuck in limbo:

The official release of Croquette — the debut album by Dr. Freddie’s Atomic Commotion.

A Band (Technically Four People)

Dr. Freddie’s Atomic Commotion is, on paper, a four-piece band.

In practice, it’s more like a rotating system of musical responsibilities.

Guacamole di Lindini
Bass, guitar, drums, keys — as if these are merely suggestions.

Herrie Friend
Guitar, drums, keys, vocals — driven by unstoppable ideas.

Beatmeister Coen
Drums, piano, guitar, bass, vocals — rhythm until further notice.

Fred Händl
Keys, guitar, bass, vocals — occasionally introduces structure.

The Plan

Release Croquette at Festival Moo-Ah! March 21st, 2021.

A proper release. Physical. Tangible.

People would be there. Music would be loud. CDs would exist in hands, not boxes.

And the Album?

Finished.

Recorded. Mixed. Produced. Manufactured.

Not almost. Not nearly. Completely.

And Then: Silence

No festival. No audience. No release.

The album didn’t fail. It didn’t flop.

It simply… never happened.

Fast Forward

Moo-Ah! is back.

Which means something unexpected:

If it was ready then — why shouldn’t it exist now?

So Here We Are

This weekend, at Moo-Ah! 2026, Croquette will finally be released.

You can hold it. You can take it home. You can play it — or keep it as a mysterious object.

The Deal

€10

I will gladly autograph it.

Please note: this will drastically reduce its resale value.

Final Thought

Some albums arrive exactly on time.

Others… take a scenic route.

Croquette took its time.

Now it’s ready.
